Eighteen-year-old Evelyn Armstrong comes home to Bronxville for Thanksgiving weekend. By sunrise, she is missing. Three days later, her body is found near Twin Lakes, and a town built on old money, good schools, and the illusion of safety begins to fracture.
FBI profiler James Prince arrives from Manhattan to hunt the killer, navigating grieving parents, frightened students, buried grudges, and a victim whose private life proves more complicated than anyone wants to admit. But Evelyn’s father, Richard Armstrong—a decorated former Navy SEAL—has no intention of waiting for the Bureau. While Prince builds his case, Richard begins tearing through Bronxville one suspect at a time.
Then a historic blizzard buries Westchester, cutting roads, killing power, and trapping everyone inside the investigation.
Prince knows the killer is still somewhere in town. Richard knows only that someone murdered his daughter.
Both men are getting closer. Only one of them understands what they’re getting closer to.
